I first went to Chet & Emil's back in about 1957 when my Aunt and Uncle(Alfred & Florence Zaugg) had a dairy farm in nearby Ringle. As a kid I really enjoyed the friendliness of the people there, as well as the great broasted chicken! Fifty three years later, I'm back with my Aunt, wife, and friends, again enjoying drinks and chicken! It was even better than I remembered. In order to remain fresh in my mind for years to come, I was the crazy one from California who was snapping photo's of the bar, bowling alley, trophy deer mounts, and fried chicken!! I don't know if I'll ever get back there again, but it's great to know that friendly neighborhood restaurant/taverns still exist in the best part of our country. Go Wisconsin! Bruce Lathrop
